Day 6: Activity = Make Sugar and Spiced Pecans for her science teacher. And draw her a picture. And mama wrote a note of thanks.
Day 7: Activity = Go to Nana's house and decorate her tree, and do crafts. I didn't stick around so these are the only pics I got.
Day 8: This was the day of her First Nutcracker so I gave her a personalized commemorative ornament that has Mother Ginger and two children. I keep meaning to take a picture of it but that hasn't happened - so here it is off the website. I ordered red and had it engraved with First Nutcracker 2012
Day 9: Activity = Bake a ton of cookies for her birthday party guest gifts. But frankly Jackie didn't do much of this activity. There were definitely days that the little chocolate santa or other candy or gift/treat meant more to her than the activity!
Day 10: 4th Birthday!!! She got her "I Am 4" t-shirt in her advent
It really has worked out well that her birthday is also part of the Advent Calendar. She enjoyed counting down the days to her birthday and had a better understanding of the date and how it relates on a calendar.
