Tickling The Ivories

Music Class Week 2:  Pianos!

I think the pianos are digital like a keyboard because you have to turn them on and because the kids wore headphones so that only they could hear the music they were making, plus the teacher's voice broadcast in the earphones.  Amazing technology!  Could you imagine 6 pianos being banged on by 3-4 year olds at the same time?

After class this week we headed to lunch at Corvette Diner with her friend "blonde Asher" and his mommy and baby sister.  I didn't take any photos or videos - but highlights included the two of them sitting in the booth together doing "cheers" with their milk glasses and then having a milk chugging contest.  Asher won.  Also, they compared scrapes on their legs.  There were also some other shenanigans like sitting on the top corners of the booth instead of in the seat, climbing under the table strategically avoiding the applesauce they had spilled, and Asher getting his groove on with the waiters.  Then we headed to the game room where they ran around pushing buttons, jumping on things, and generally wasting their parent's money.  Jackie used a toy claw game and won a dolphin - which she sooooo needed, right!

Jackie is really enjoying her new classes. She asks me all the time, "when's music class day again?  When do I swim again?"  And she gets frustrated by how many days away it is: "What?!  I can't wait that long!"  Although, this has become a game so she might just enjoy being so dramatic.  She also keeps asking about science class.  She misses that one too.  But the chauffeur really doesn't want to drive to San Diego twice a week and the treasurer has put her on a budget!  (In case it wasn't obvious, these are  Mommy's job titles, and many more.)
