Apple Picking

While the Fraziers were here visiting in October we all drove out to Julian to catch the tail end of apple season.  First we did some apple picking.  It was more like apple hunting trying to find some ripe ones large enough to enjoy.  But Jackie enjoyed it just the same.  And we have been nibbling on our apples and using them in oatmeal, now that the mornings are cold.  (the days are still hot hot hot).

After apple picking and picture taking we did a little wine tasting - though the place with apple wine was closed, boo - ate lunch and then gorged ourselves on warm apple pie with ice cream.  I was too busy stuffing my face to take any pictures of that.  I'm sure you understand.
