But here is the overall gist of things:
- It's tax season for procrastinators. And I am a procrastinator. So, lucky me, I've been crunching numbers, catching up on data entry, and organizing in order to do the corp taxes followed by the joint tax return followed by a projection for 2012 so we can see just how bad this is going to be for us. Fun right? Wish you were me?
- Jackie is LOVING school. And she is really loving dance class. She's still doing gymnastics once a week. We go to the library almost every week. She sees both sets of grandparents regularly. And we just started science class at the science center again. Chris took her to her first day back and they had a blast.
- Jackie seems to have had another physical and cognitive growth spurt. She doesn't even seem like a toddler anymore (until she gets too tired or hungry). And she has started to show a bit of a 'tude. So far it's cute and witty and not too disrespectful. But, that is something we are learning about these days, respect.
Here is just one example of her new found attitude (for those of you who didn't already read about it on facebook): One night after asking her to sit down and eat her dinner about ten times, she says in response, "And if I don't?" Yep. Sassy Pants.
And since blog posts aren't much fun without photos.....
Here is Jackie and her friend Morgan practicing their sassy pants attitudes:
By the way, Jackie is definitely not short for her age. Morgan is a bit older (4 months), but she is also super tall for her age. Morgan's mom and I are about the same height. I wonder if Jackie will be as tall as me.....
