Reads herself to sleep

Jackie is allowed to turn her light back on and "read" before going to sleep.  Lately she's been doing this for way too long and I'm worried it's actually keeping her up longer.  But, maybe she's teaching herself to read, so I try not to worry.  But tonight, after a very long day with no nap and a way too early morning, her reading light was still on an hour after putting her to bed.  Chris went in to check on her and this is what he found.....

This is how he finds me most nights too because in addition to all the bookkeeping I've been doing, the other reason I haven't been blogging is because I have been reading the A Song of Ice and Fire series.  LOVE IT!  And now I am headed off the bed where I will probably fall asleep with the light on and my thumb in a page.
