Summer is now in full swing! Which is our busiest craziest time of the year. Lazy Days of Summer? Not in this household. Chris has been working his booty off. We've had a lot of other grown up responsibilities too. Jackie has been attending summer school. And of course, we've squeezed in some fun!

We enjoyed a second annual tradition with The Hammonds.... a concert in the Park at Poway Lake. Really, I think this is the third year in a row we've done this, but at different parks. We packed a picnic dinner and listened to music. I'm sorry I didn't get any good pictures of our dear friends - but they were kind enough to take a family shot of us. We don't get many of these unless we pay a pro. But, of course, we can't all look great in the same photo. That would be too much to ask!

Yoga time?
We had another friend/family over for dinner - Jackie helped me clean before they came.
But for some reason I didn't take any pictures while they were here. There was a lot of "hockey" being played on the putting green, while beer, wine, and food was being consumed. And after a lengthy conversation about making sure our kids get enough sleep during the summer, there was a sudden panic when the mommies realized it was after 8 o'clock already! Gotta love those long summer nights!
