Our first day of exploring Oahu, Marissa took me to her favorite beach, Lanikai. It was a truly magical place with powder soft sand and turquoise water that seemed more Caribbean than Hawaiian. There was even a young sea turtle enjoying the waves. Jackie swam in the ocean for the very first time. Once we were past the initial break, I could even let go and let her swim with her floaties. Even looking back at these photos, I can't believe I was there and I can't wait to go back!
Thank you Alana for letting Jackie use your elephant towel. (Alana actually picked it out for her to use.) She loved it!
After the beach we drove to a look out point. It was so windy I felt like Jackie was going to blow right out of my arms.

Bathing Beauties
Remember Alana's independent stage that was probably exacerbated by being around Jackie? You can see in this picture that she insisted on putting on her pajamas herself.
Nighty Night girls! Jackie and Alana had a great day together - as did Marissa and I. Where are we going tomorrow?
