Thankfulness

Last year we made a leaf wreath of thankfulness.  Jackie didn't really understand the concept of thankfulness yet, so I would ask her who does she love and what does she like and what are her favorites.  And I wrote down the answers.  See post here: http://thesmeals.blogspot.com/2010/12/rainy-days-are-here-again.html


This year we repeated the craft on Thanksgiving morning and it was so much more fun!  She definitely knows what thankfulness is and she was answering quite easily.  She came up with some new original answers without any prompting from her mommy and daddy, like her baby cousin Kyla, her newest friend Emelia, her gymnastics teacher, and her new room.  Though I admit that I did prompt her to be thankful for..... her mommy!
