Sugar High!!!

Halloween has come and gone and left behind a sugar hangover.  Happy November 1st!
We are feeling very blessed this morning..... because we have the most awesome new neighborhood.  I should have taken pictures of the insanity but we were so overwhelmed by it that we just had to absorb it.  The street at the end of our street is like something out of a movie.  Seriously.  People decorate quite a bit, but really it's just the whole atmosphere.  Kids all over the place running around.  Neighbors out on their driveways with fire pits and cooking hot dogs.
Jaclyn loved meeting up with her new neighborhood friend Emilia and riding in a wagon and trick or treating.  They were little candy fiends looking to score.
For your viewing pleasure:
Halloween Morning, before school

Halloween Night - headed out trick or treating - I convinced Chris to dress up!  He had this shirt in the closet.  I had these silly old hats in the garage (just in case, ya know).  He borrowed his late grandfather's belt buckle (he was a real cowboy).  I wore some old boots of my mom's (a true country girl).  And there ya go.
Jaclyn and Emilia - READY TO GO!!
The day before Halloween we went to a party for the play group that Jaclyn has been a part of since the early days.  We had a chance to dress up again and we went on a parade around the neighborhood.
