Monday Funday

So I spent an hour doing a blog post and then somehow deleted it!!!!  Luckily it sends a few people a copy of the blog post via email.  Cutting and Pasting and recreating the blog post now.  DUH!

Since Chris has an atypical schedule - working most of the weekend and in the evenings - we have the pleasure of doing family activities on random days like Monday.  So yesterday afternoon we took the peanut to Sea World which was so empty!  Jaclyn has been there a dozen times or more during the past year, since we first got our passes.  We usually only go for an hour or two at a time.  Each time we go, we get to do something different.
This time she did an old favorite, Elmo's Flying Fish ride, as well as several new favorites.  She watched her daddy blow some hard earned cash playing carnival games and winning MORE stuffed animals.  Yeah!  No wonder she says things like, "Daddy likes games" and "Daddy is good at games".  Has he been brainwashing her?!

And she watched a 4D movie in a big theatre.  It was her first movie theatre experience.  The movie was Sesame Street  and only lasted about a half hour, so it was perfect for her.  It was in 3D so she wore special movie watching glasses.  And the 4D element is that the seats would vibrate and water would spray at you and such.  She was safely tucked in my arms so she didn't seem too alarmed by the 3D and 4D element.  Personally,  I HATE 3D movies.  I feel cross eyed.  20 minutes is okay.  But I really don't know how people watched Avatar in 3D for 3 hours!  I doubt that I will jump on the 3D television band wagon.  But, never say never.
Lastly, water play.  Jaclyn's never been to a water park type place, with me anyway.  I don't know why... maybe because our summer was so cold, and over scheduled.  Maybe because she wasn't so good at running yet and I worried about big kids.  Whatever the reason, she discovered the water play area at Sea World yesterday at 4:30 while the sun is going down and a cool breeze is kicking up.  But she was SO DARN CUTE running through it we just couldn't stop her.  She got pretty wet, but it was worth it!  Here is a picture, but for the full cuteness factor, you should watch this youtube video:
