Trail Run

The biggest fundraiser for Jackie's school is a Trail Run at Lake Poway that draws runners from all over Southern California, not just our community. Over 1100 people ran in a 10k, a 5k, or a 7 & under kids race on this beautiful morning. I was very busy working and helping to make this event happen smoothly. And tears came to my eyes when I realized I had totally missed watching Jackie run in the kids race. Nana and Papa were there to cheer her on and she had her buddy Sevon running with her and she doesn't seem bothered by the fact that I wasn't there clicking away with my camera. But I'm heart broken.
