"Camping"?

You may recall that we went camping in September with a bunch of the old mommy meetup group.  You can read about it again here.  Some of the group planned another weekend camping trip in June, but Chris and I couldn't join in because of work schedules.  However, Jackie has not stopped talking about going camping since our last trip.  So last minute I thought, why don't we just drive out there for the day?  It's only an hour, she gets up so early, it's not that hard to pack a day's worth of stuff, and I can come home, shower, and sleep in my own bed the same night.  Perfect!  That's my kind of camping!

I really enjoyed getting some time to hang with the other parents - including a very competitive but evenly matched game of cards with Jen.  Love you Jen!  Everyone was so nice to let us crash their adventure.  And Jackie had a great time with her friends.

Hanging out INSIDE Levi's camper was one of the favorite activities during this day of OUTDOOR camping.  Go figure.
