Easter Fun

Before Easter, Jackie came running out of class looking like this and hopping like a bunny.

The next day we had an egg hunt with friends and Jackie got to dress up to have her photo taken.

And of course the hunt was the most important part

She's pretending to be happy she got goldfish.  Honestly, the anticipation of the egg hunt may have worn her out too much because she was disappointed that she didn't get any candy.  I broke down and put jelly beans in the set of eggs we brought, but the other moms were more creative.  Also, Jackie very sweetly and generously put a little fuzzy cat figurine in one of our eggs for a friend to find, but then seemed sad afterwards.  She was probably super tired too, because she fell right asleep in the car and didn't care so much about these things later.

Easter Morning we were dragged out of bed very early by an eager little girl.  She was excited to get her basket from the Easter Bunny and then go outside to hunt eggs!

We literally waited to dye eggs until Easter Sunday.... there was just too much going on!

 Then we went to Great Grandma's house for Easter fun.... kite flying off the back deck as become an annual tradition.  It was a gorgeous day!

Kyla and Jackie were so fun to watch together.  Puzzles was one of their calmer moments.  After dessert it was Girls Gone Wild!  I should have recorded it!!!
