Here are a few highlights from two months. There was a whole 4 week session on amusement parks. They learned about roller coasters, spinning rides, bungee type rides, and water parks.

Roller Coasters
Making a submarine (I'm not sure how this relates to water parks, but whatevs)
They made boats
Slinky Art
Slinky Stairs
Bouncy Ball experiment
They also made bungee cords with rubber-bands looped together and they tied them to a barbie doll or action figure and dropped them over a balcony. I had to be involved and helping her so I couldn't take a good picture. She really enjoyed this and now she pretends to bungee jump off our bed with something tied around her waste. This is a little worrisome!
Then the theme was based around Halloween, sort of. There was a day where we learned about insects and arachnids. Then there was a day about nocturnal animals. Then they did a bunch of stuff with pumpkins. Chris learned that pumpkins float. He was surprised. See, the class is totally worth the money because even the adults are learning!
Making a Spider Web with string, glue, balloon
How do insects drink?
Petting a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach
Floating Pumpkin
Skeleton week - making bone snacks using marshmallows, pretzels and melted white chocolate candy coating. Let dry/harden and they're just like yogurt pretzels.
latex glove and a sharpie, trace the bones and put circle where the joints are located
Daddy Bones
This month we are doing the human body, digestive system, circulatory system, Brain and 5 senses, skeletal system (again, but differently). Just yesterday Grandma asked Jackie what was her favorite class/activity that she does, school, gymnastics, dance or science? She said science!
