A good friend from the Mommy group planned a day of celebrating Fall. As a former teacher, she is fantastic at organizing these playful yet educational playdates. Jackie was a little shy at first, but soon she jumped into all the fun. When we got home that afternoon, she pretended to be Jen, gathering everyone together (me) for storytime and pretending to give me leaves to put on the tree, etc. And as we walk and drive through San Diego she points out the trees that are changing color. This playdate really made a big impression!
