Tap Toes

Yesterday I went to the biannual Parent Connection Swap Meet in search of good deals.  I scored a dozen or so books in excellent condition, some puzzles, alphabet and number magnets, hair clips (which if you've known me and my Rapunzel baby, is no big surprise), a lovely red coat dress with hood (I'm thinking Little Red Riding Hood for  Halloween - if she'll agree), a couple of little plastic chairs in her size (she loves them!) and several pairs of shoes in her next size up ..... including tap shoes!!

Jaclyn took to them instantly, wearing them off and on the rest of the day.  She even told me to put mine on, which she's only seen once before.  We danced around the room and she said it was a "tap show" and said she was a "tap dancer" and called her shoes "tap toes".  I guess I should start looking for a dance school!

Clearly she doesn't want her photo take anymore......

On the up side, she learned from Caillou (TV show) that magnets stick to metal and she went around the house experimenting with what is metal and what isn't.  See, TV isn't all bad.
