Summer Beach Days

We kicked our summer off right with a beach day with some of my favorite mommy friends.  Fortunately all of our kids enjoyed each other too!  Now that Jackie is 4 1/2 I am discovering that going to the beach with kids is actually fun!  I don't have a younger sibling to manage, I can carry lots of stuff, and give Jackie something to carry too.  And she has a great time playing with her friends with minimal needs from mommy.  I think we made it to the beach at least 3 times during June and July and we haven't even gotten our real summer weather yet!  We've been going to Torrey Pines State Beach.  It's a straight shot from our house, the parking is a breeze, and these rocks are as much fun as the sand and water.
