Cover Model

I entered Jackie into a contest to be on the cover of a local monthly publication called San Diego Family Magazine.  It's a free magazine that features lots of local activities and family friendly businesses.  Every year they have this contest and 7 kids win.  So most of the year's worth of covers feature local kids.

Jackie was a finalist in the contest; one of 25 in her age category.  Click here to see her and the other kids. They will pick two kids from her group.  We won't know until later this month.  Chances are she won't be one of them, but we still had fun going to an interview of the finalists at the local Birch Aquarium.  We got to spend time together as a family at the Aquarium for free.  And we were very proud of our sweet little girl for being brave and mature when talking to some strangers at her interview.
