Just another day at the beach

Since Jackie's school is in Solana Beach, we've made a few visits to the beach after class.  She hasn't been needing naps everyday or as early, which does afford a little more time to play and explore in this lovely beachside town.  I used to work in Solana Beach, so I really enjoy visiting old haunts as well.  And I LOVE the beach in "winter" because our winter weather here is often nicer than spring and early summer.  AND because it is perfectly acceptable to be on the beach fully clothed during winter.  I still hate sand in my car and house, so it is a bit of a production to try to clean her up before heading home.  But she is so thrilled to be there that it is worth it.
