Adios Calle Mariselda

Things I will not miss about the Condo:

• Two flights of stairs.  Vacuuming two flights of stairs. Upstairs, downstairs, carrying laundry, carrying a growing toddler, carrying groceries.  Tripping on the stairs months ago and still suffering from toe pain!  Worrying about Jaclyn on the stairs.  Not having friends' children over to play for fear of them getting hurt.  NO MORE STAIRS!!
• Tile counters - little white tiles with white grout that never looks clean.  NO MORE TILE COUNTERS!!
• Having a home office in the living room. It was never tidy.  It was always there reminding me how behind I am.
• Miramar Jets - they can be really annoying.
• Congested neighborhood noise.  It's hard living is close quarters and being subjected to motorcycles and delivery trucks and such driving through the alley, the sound bouncing from building to building and amplifying.  Not to mention the little yappy dogs.
• Sharing walls.
• My neighbor who constantly parks his van in the alley even though it is a fire lane.  
• HOA - enough said.
• Lack of outdoor privacy.  As much as I like peeping at my neighbors out of my blinds, I hate the feeling that I am being watched.  Ironic.

By the way, it never looked as good as it does in this photo, because we actually lived there and had toys stuffed in every nook and cranny and a big ugly afghan lying on the floor or sofa, and a coffee table in the middle, stained and colored on,  and the rug always needed vacuuming, and I rarely lit the candles in the fireplace, and....... you get the idea.

Gracias Calle Mariselda #308 for 5+ years.  We grew up, grew a business, became adults and became parents.  We decorated and fixed you up and spent many many nights sitting on a couch and watching a tv in this room.  We did a little entertaining, but we should have done more.  Adios Calle Mariselda.
